Flashing chrome, black front panel, blue metallic denim paintwork including detachable parts, gently shimmering aluminum wheels – the HDH premiere model of the TopClass is already a statement on the outside and maintains a confident appearance.

Interior: Top class comfort and technology

This impression continues in the passenger compartment. Back-lit sill panel trim with brand lettering, floor covering and partition walls with wood-look decor, the luxurious Setra Voyage Ambassador seating with multi-part upholstery made from a combination of composition and fabric in brocade gold, design decor on the adjustable rockers in bird’s eye maple, curtains in curry – the TopClass is already a top-class touring coach at first glance. Refrigerators, kitchenettes and washrooms plus toilets are a matter of course in this environment.

This impression continues in view of the sophisticated technical equipment: Coach MediaRouter for Internet access, the new Coach Infotainment Series multimedia system, 21.5-inch electrically folding screens, USB connector and 230 V connections between the double seats – all together the perfect basis for infotainment on the go.

Cockpit: Attractive and highly functional, innovative assistance systems

The cockpit of the premiere model is also characterized by high-quality equipment. The multifunction leather steering wheel and dashboard with black matt bird’s eye maple design decor are a feast for the eyes, Keyless Start, the new electronic parking brake with hold function, the Coach Infotainment Series multimedia system, the new, even brighter LED headlights or the peripheral lighting for reversing and the 360° camera system for a perfect overview all-round are a valuable support in everyday life. There are also assistance systems that set new standards for buses and touring coaches: Active Drive Assist 2 including Active Steering Assist, adaptive cruise control, Active Brake Assist 5, the latest generation of Predictive Powertrain Control, Sideguard Assist, TPM tire pressure monitoring system – the maximum available today and they uncover completely new opportunities in touring coach driving.

The equally superior drivetrain harmonizes with the superior appearance of the TopClass. The powerful yet highly efficient OM 471 engine with 375 kW (510 hp), the fully automated GO 250–8 PowerShift transmission and the RO 440 drive axle come from a single source and are perfectly matched to one another.
