Saar-Mobil GmbH & Co. KG, the largest private transportation company in the federal state of Saarland in western Germany, has expanded its bus fleet with 20 S 415 LE Business vehicles.

The vehicles have been handed over to owners Lay Reisen on Tour GmbH in Puettlingen and Aloys Baron GmbH in Grossrosseln. Company owners assumed ownership of the low-entry Setra MultiClass vehicles after the companies had won a tender for an additional third route bundle in the district of St. Wendel.

In addition to the active filters with the antiviral protective layer developed by Daimler Buses, the vehicles have also been fitted by Saar-Mobil GmbH with a new type of coating that is infection-repellent and can prevent infections.

Saar-Mobil GmbH & Co. KG is part of the Saarländischer Verkehrsbund transport association and was founded around six years ago by Saarland’s private bus companies. The aim was to pool competencies and experience and thus increase the chances of winning public transport tenders in Saarland.
