Citaro hybrid

  • Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Taranto (Italy) , Sep 27, 2023 - Kyma Mobilità, the local public transport operator in the port city of Taranto in the south-east Italian region of Apulia, has taken delivery of 56 Mercedes-Benz Citaro hybrid low-floor city buses. The introduction of the new Citaro hybrid buses from Mercedes-Benz with a length of around twelve metres in the signature red white and blue paintwork of Kyma Mobilità is not only improving the mobility and efficiency of local public transport but also demonstrating the transport operator’s commitment to a more environmentally friendly city and a better quality of life for the residents and visitors to Taranto.
  • Leinfelden-Echterdingen / Höchstadt a.d. Aisch, Mar 23, 2023 - The city bus company Werner Vogel is expanding its modern bus fleet with 26 new, environmentally-friendly Mercedes-Benz city buses. These Citaro hybrid vehicles will be operated on behalf of Erlanger Stadtwerke AG (ESTW) on a number of lines in Höchstadt, located in Germany's Middle Franconia region.
  • Stuttgart / Mannheim , Sep 8, 2022 - The new Mercedes-Benz Citaro hybrid owned by Bietigheim-based bus company Spillmann is so much more than just another themed fleet vehicle. Although this vehicle is once again a lovingly designed, exceptionally well-equipped, one-of-a-kind, Spillmann is involving all of Bietigheim-Bissingen’s twin cities in the design concept to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the twin city partnerships, unlike other, more independently developed design concepts.
  • Stuttgart / Mannheim, Mar 25, 2022 - Bietigheim-based bus company Spillmann is very creative. The Mercedes-Benz fleet is a reflection of the Spillmann marketing concept: Each of the vehicles is unique, lovingly planned, exceptionally well-equipped and all with their own message. On March 25th, this unique fleet grew by six vehicles.
  • Stuttgart / Rome , Jun 9, 2021 - Rome-based transport company, Atac, will receive 100 Mercedes-Benz Citaro hybrid buses. The city buses are to be delivered in three lots between June and the autumn of this year.
  • Stuttgart, Feb 12, 2021 - They stand out at 18 metres long and with their bright yellow paintwork: in the towns of Liège (Luik/Lüttich), Mons and Nivelles in Wallonia, Belgium, the first of a total of 129 new Mercedes-Benz Citaro G hybrid articulated buses are in operation. The operator is the TEC Group transport company.
  • Mannheim / Bietigheim, Dec 4, 2020 - The Bietigheim-based company Spillmann has long been a major player in the local bus and coach market with its emotively designed buses. What began in 2012 with six Citaro vehicles has now grown to a fleet of 26 themed vehicles and has developed into the approach for a bus-based local transport concept of the future.
