Even in difficult weather conditions, such as cold, ice and snow, the vehicles must reliably do their job. Against this background, this year’s Mercedes-Benz Truck winter tests in Rovaniemi, Finland, once again proved to be important endurance tests.
  • Stuttgart / Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Jan 10, 2023 - Tevex Logistics, the logistics subsidiary of the Tönnies Group, intends to use the eActros LongHaul battery-powered long-distance truck for the delivery of foodstuffs in the future. During an official customer visit to Daimler Truck headquarters, Stina Fagerman, Head of Marketing, Sales and Services at Mercedes-Benz Trucks, as well as Clemens Tönnies, Managing Partner of the Tönnies Group and Dirk Mutlak, Managing Director at Tevex Logistics, signed a joint Letter of Intent for the order of 50 Mercedes-Benz electric semitrailer tractors.
  • Stuttgart / Kempten, Dec 15, 2022 - The logistics service provider Dachser is planning to add 50 units of Mercedes-Benz eActros LongHaul, presented at this year’s IAA Transportation, to its European fleet. The global company from Kempten has signed a Letter of Intent with Mercedes-Benz Trucks to this end.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks has set itself the ambitious goal of 100 percent electrification of delivery traffic to its largest truck plant by the end of 2026, making a significant part of direct supply chain CO2-neutral.
  • Stuttgart/Munich , Oct 24, 2022 - At the world's leading trade show for construction applications, Mercedes-Benz Trucks will provide extensive insights into its electric vehicle portfolio, in addition to the diesel trucks it will have on display. At its trade show stand will be the eActros LongHaul concept prototype with an electric power take-off from MEILLER; the eActros 300 with an electrified tipper solution from MEILLER; and the Prototype Battery-Electric Arocs with an electric truck mixer from LIEBHERR-Mischtechnik, designed together with the Paul Group.
  • Stuttgart/ Hanover , Sep 28, 2022 - At this year's IAA Transportation, logistics company Hegelmann Group, which operates in Europe, and Mercedes-Benz Trucks signed a Letter of Intent for the order of 50 eActros LongHaul. The vehicles are to be delivered to the family-owned company from Bruchsal, Germany with the start of series production in 2024.
  • Stuttgart/Hanover, Sep 19, 2022 - The Mercedes-Benz eActros LongHaul wins the “2023 Truck Innovation Award.” The prestigious industry award is presented to particularly innovative trucks by the “International Truck of the Year” (IToY) jury, which is made up of 25 experienced commercial vehicle journalists from important international media from Europe and other countries.

  • Stuttgart, Sep 15, 2022 - Mercedes-Benz Trucks will begin real-world testing of its battery-electric heavy-duty long-distance truck at an early stage. Amazon and Rhenus will test the eActros LongHaul in real-world operations as early as 2023. The two companies have each signed a letter of intent with Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
